Is Your Lift Chair Recliner in NEED of Some TLC?
Did you know it is recommended that electric recliners/lift chair recliners have a full service every 12 months?
Our maintenance service improves the day-to-day performance of the mechanism, helping to eliminate clunking noises, as well as promote longevity.
The Electric Recliner Mechanic 7pt Maintenance Service includes:
1. Inspection of the operation of your recliner, including the footrest ‘scissor arm’ action.
2. Inspection and examination of electric motor/actuator, transformer, remote control/switch, plus all cables and leads.
3. Alignment and Reorganisation of adaptors to mechanism to avoid damage.
4. Lubrication of all moving joints of the mechanism, as well as clean and grease the motor/actuator.
5. Checking the mounting points of the mechanism to the timber frame, plus do any tightening that is required.
6. Replacement of batteries in transformers that have a battery ‘back-up’ system.
7. Plus, a general clean of the metal mechanism.
We are always happy to help you keep your lift chair recliner in its best possible condition, and therefore you comfortable.
Our ‘Protection Cover’ for all the electrical components in the recliner (this acts very similar to insurance for each of the components) is another way we can give you reassurance and peace of mind knowing your recliner will continually support you.

Some Reasons Why Your Lift Chair Recliner is NOT Working
- The motor may have stripped the gears, ceased up, or just at the end of its life.
- The handset connections could have split, or maybe there is a crushed cord.
- A power surge has shorted the transformer, or there is a severed cable.
- Damage has occurred to the metal mechanism under the recliner.
Most parts are replaceable, which we carry with us in our vehicle when we come out to you – it may not be the identical part, but our intention is to have you up and running on the day of our visit.
